More About Me!!!

Desperately trying to make up for the lack of posts...

So I thought maybe you'd like to get to know me a bit better? I'm just gonna tell you a little bit about me but if there's anything else you'd like to know just leave a comment.

So basically I'm just a normal Scottish teenager who's obsess with travel, languages and of course fashion and beauty. I'm currently studying in high school but I'd really like to go to uni to study languages as I just love the only opportunities they give me and also the ability to meet loads of new people. I am currently learning French and Spanish but I'd really like to learn Chinese and Arabic. Actually I'd learn any language I can unfortunately my school only offers those two.

I love to travel and am really fortunate to already have been to some amazing places. I really hope to be able to live abroad in the future and it's my dream to make a difference to the human rights movement particularly women's rights. My hero is Malala the schoolgirl who was shot by the Taliban but now campaigns for girls rights everywhere. To me she is an inspiration and I hope to follow in her footsteps.

When it comes to fashion I love skirts, shorts, blouses and blazers. You could say my style is a bit retro. My style icons are Taylor Swift and Blair Waldorf. For those of you who didn't watch gossip girl Blair is a character from that show. I love teaming pops of bright colours with more subtle outfits, you won't see me out in a ridiculously bright outfit!

When it comes to make up and beauty I tend to go for the more natural look as I am way to lazy to spend hours everyday on my make up. If I am going for it the most out there I get it red lipstick. I love it.

So that's me. Anything else you want to know just ask me. Also if any of you like similar thing or just want to tell me anything I'll  be here. If any of you speak trencher Spanish or even just any language it'd also be amazing to see some comments in another language! English is also great too mind!

See you soon,

Life Saver Product for Spots - Witch Blemish Stick review

Hello lovely people,
So I know its been way way too long since I posted but I have just been really busy with schoolwork and just life in general! Buuut I just had to share this life saver with you.

I don't know about you but when I get a spot its always huge and red and just horrible. I recently found this amazing product that just works so so well.
It's the Witch Blemish Stick. It's honestly so amazing. It a clear stick of kind of solid gel, I know it sounds weird but its good honest! You just roll some onto you spot and leave it. I tend to put it on maybe twice a day and even after just one day I notice a difference. Generally it only takes a couple of days for the spot to disappear.
What's even better is it only costs around £2 (£2.09 from boots ) and it lasts forever. I have had mine for about six months and I'm only about half the way down.

I would really recommend this to you guys as it works so well, doesn't cost much and lasts a really long time. I couldn't live without it. If any of you use or try this product feel free to let me know, I would love to hear what you think. As always any requests are gratefully received,

See you soon,

Desert Island Beauty Products!

So I thought that maybe I should get away from the magic of Christmas for a while and thought that this would be a good post as I'm still really new to this and thought that this post would give you more of an idea into me and how I roll. I only really have two desert island beauty products and they are both so cheap, versatile and work amazingly.
Number one, Vaseline. You may be thinking what a weirdo but this little pot does so much and works really well. Prepare for the list of uses. It removes eye make up and prevents skin around the eyes drying out, conditions and thickens lashes, cleanses skin, moisturises, can be a lip balm, nourishes nails and grooms brows. Wow. This £1 pot of joy basically solves all your problems. Also I use mine every day and it has lasted me for over six months!
Number two, Nivea Creme. Yes, I have mentioned this before but it is just so fabulous it needs mentioned again. It cleanses, moisturises, acts as a face mask and is a great body lotion. All without any nasty chemicals or colours. I also use this everyday and my £1.50 pot lasts me for over eight months! This goes on so nicely and makes your skin feel and look amazing, I would definitely recommend this.
So those are my two products I just couldn't live without. Both are utterly fabulous and affordable so definite favourites. I would love to hear about the products you can't live without so comment away

What is Wrong With Cheap Shampoo?!

So today I am addressing  a very big issue for me right now. I don't know if any of you have hear of the brand Alberto Balsam but they are a budget shampoo brand with a bottle only costing £1. Recently I have seen a lot of snide comments about how something that cheap can't be doing anything good to your hair. For my lovely international friends I'm sure you can think of a similar brand. I am a great believer in price isn't everything and I can tell that hands down this shampoo and conditioner works great! The reason its not as expensive is because it doesn't add in all these extra chemicals claiming to work miracles for your hair it just has the stuff you need and simple really is better. Ever heard that idea that if you don't wash your hair it will end up shinier and nicer eventually? Well this shampoo and shampoo's like it just testify to that. They don't have any unnecessary chemicals yet still smell fabulous and leave your hair looking and feeling nicer.
So rant over. I just feel that people are being put off by some people judging something by its price before even testing it. if you have any similar problems or disagree with me make sure to comment below your views are always appreciated.

Interesting Ways To Give Money As A Present

So have come up with some interesting ways to give money as a present recently and felt like I should share them with you. I know that quite often my friends give me absolutely nothing they want for Christmas and birthdays and I always feel like just money in an envelope is not that exciting so hopefully these will help you too.
  1. Money Chocolate Box-This is amazing its so simple yet looks amazing and all you really need is a box and some paper cases. You can put notes or coins amounting to however much you want. You could even throw in some chocolate money!
  2. Money Balloon - I think this really cute and really fun as well. You just need to pick their favourite colour of balloon and put some money into it before blowing it up and there you go. If you can get helium it looks even better!
  3. Open When Envelopes - These are adorable and allow you to be really creative. All you need to do is write "open when..." on an envelope, add and ending for example "... you need some chocolate" and simply put £1 in the envelope. The possibilities are endless, "...you want to go to the cinema" and way hey a tenner!
So that's it if you have any more ideas comment them below and I'll be sure to add them. As always ideas for posts are always welcome and make sure to follow me on bloglovin! Also if you have any questions about basically anything I'll be more than happy to answer.

Christmas Make Up Present!

So as I am feeling very festive at the moment I thought I would share with you lovely people one of my ideas for a friends Christmas present. I know that for a lot of make up lovers the gift sets are sometimes quite expensive and don't always have what you want in them so I have saved the day and come up with a solution. DIY make up sets!
The idea is to pick a few items your friends love, want or you think they'll love and put them in a box and decorate it yourself. For example I've made one for my friend with a Maybelline Baby Lips Hydrate, A Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick and a Body Shop Passionberry Lip Balm. I just put them in a pretty box and tied it up with a ribbon and added a tag saying "Your very own lip collection".
I love this as I think your friends will really love the thought that's gone into it and this way there's no unwanted items in the set.  Of course it doesn't have to be lips, it could be body sprays or eye-shadow or even just a mix and match. The list is literally endless.
So that's my first little present idea and if you want more just comment below as always.
